Uniform (Years 7-10)

Items which are not acceptable

Le Rocquier School Blazer

Any other blazer/hoody/jumper/jacket

Le Rocquier School Tie (available from the main school office for £5) 

Plain white shirt with a collar

An unbuttoned shirt

A visible t-shirt

An exposed midriff

Plain black trousers

Jeans of any style

Tracksuit bottoms/jogging bottoms of any variety

Trousers that are: frayed, clingy, made of lycra, decorated.

Black Charleston Skirt which must sit no more than 1 inch above the knee       

(available from JSSK or Lyndale Sports)

A short or tight skirt (including pencil skirts)

Skirts with splits in the seams

No lycra

Plain black tights or socks

OR

White knee length socks

Patterned tights

Coloured/patterned socks

Black shoes, which can be cleaned/polished

Trainers/sports shoes

Canvas shoes

High heels/stilettoes

Boots

No logos/designs/patterns

No extreme styles, including: tramlines, unnatural colours, undercuts

One pair of ear studs.

One watch

No other jewellery is permitted, including:

Hoop earrings

Stretchers

Facial piercings of any description

Necklaces, chokers

Rings, beads, bracelets, threads etc.

A coat and scarf (which can be worn on the way to school and during break/lunch only)  

Coats/scarfs are not to be worn inside the school building

 


PE/Performing Arts Kit

For PE:

Plain white socks

Plain red shorts/skirt

Plain white polo shirt

Trainers suitable for sport

Red round neck sweatshirts with school logo

Red reversible rugby shirt (optional)

Red socks with white trim 

Football boots and Shin pads 

Gum shield 

For Performing Arts:

PE kit may be worn or a black performing arts polo shirt (with the Le Rocquier Logo).

Key Stage 4 students are permitted to wear black leggings for PE or Performing arts, in addition to the uniform.

 

Outside activities (such as outdoor learning, Princes Trust etc.)

Appropriate clothing should be worn for these activities (as directed by the group leader).

Uniform should be worn before and after the event, students will be given time to change in school.
